Remember these little Easter Egg chicks from Easter?
Well did I try to make a Christmassy egg this year too?
YEP.
I couldn’t resist. Too funny. Noah nearly fell over with excitement when he saw his lunch!
I started with two hard boiled eggs – some black sesame seeds, a toothpick and teeny triangles cut from carrot.
It is much easier to get a decent result with the sesame seeds if you use the toothpick to create a little hole to poke the sesame seeds into first, instead of just trying to shove the sesame seed into the egg.
I then popped the carrot noses on. Surprisingly these just stuck on without any effort.
Aren’t they adorable?!
But wait – we could do more. They need arms – yes? Toothpick arms!
Hmmm what about a hat?
The hat is made from carrot – one slightly larger ring cut thinner than a second smaller ring that was cut thicker. Threaded onto a toothpick and carefully poked into the top of the boiled egg.
Put them together and tada! Frosty the Eggman!

Haha … Go have some fun xx
