Oh how I wish I was still relaxing down south! It was such a gorgeous weekend and I’ve been enjoying reliving it a little through our photos! On the saturday we had a little bit of a late start, then decided to head into Maragret River but on the drive from Yallingup down to Margs we decided to stop somewhere for an early lunch. So many people had recommended the Cheeky Monkey Brewery so we decided to make that our lunch spot and we were SO glad we did!We loved this place as soon as […]

our weekend down south :: canal rocks, yallingup

June 7th, 2013|Categories: A Little Delightful|Tags: , , , |3 Comments

Last weekend we went away down south for a few days and we had the best time.We stayed in a little chalet but spent most of our time out of it, exploring the beautiful area that is the Margaret River wine region. We have been down there a few times, and each time it’s different and wonderful and fun. On our first morning, we decided to check out the Canal Rocks in Yallingup. The rocks are a pretty quick visit. They are an amazing rock formation that the sea has carved out. It’s located in […]

Noah’s 6th Birthday Road Trip : Lancelin

February 21st, 2013|Categories: A Little Delightful|Tags: , , , , , |9 Comments

Last week my gorgeous boy turned SIX years old.I know everyone says it, because it’s just so true – how did we get here – already? SIX? It doesn’t seem that long ago that he was just starting to walk, and talk, and fell in love with trains. All of a sudden he’s huge and in year one. This year, instead of a birthday party, we told Noah he could choose to do pretty much anything he would like to celebrate his birthday. We could go to the zoo, or a park, bring a friend […]

much needed down time

Well hello there!I have really missed this little space, and though I didn’t intentionally take a break from blogging, I obviously really needed it! We had a really really busy last two months of 2012. It flew by and I felt like I hardly breathed. But it was a wonderful 2 months, filled with a lot of family, a lot of Christmas, a lot of fun, but also a lot of business, a lot of rushing around, a lot of tiredness. So when we went away to see more family in Jakarta after Christmas + […]

Travelling with children : part 2

August 15th, 2011|Categories: A Little Delightful|Tags: , , |2 Comments

Following on from my last post, I thought I’d share what I pack for the plane trip.Noah is a great traveller and normally just enjoys looking at the flight safety card and inflight magazine and staring out the window but of course at some point gets bored of doing those things and so I have these to occupy him.Tag reader, a few books and some earphones. I bought kids earphones specifically so the volume can’t go up to high to protect young ears. To keep Noah’s backpack manageable for the flight I put the […]

travelling with children : part 1

August 11th, 2011|Categories: A Little Delightful|Tags: , , |6 Comments

We recently returned from a trip overseas to visit with family. It was a much needed holiday and it was beyond fabulous to spend some time with so many of the people I love.I consider you super lucky if you have family that live near by. We don’t have any and so it gets a bit tough sometimes. Needless to say, we travel fairly often to see our families. Noah has clocked up over 110,000 kms of air travel in his 4.5 years. Luckily he is a brilliant traveller! Chloe – well she is still […]
