I kind of wish Christmas wasn’t already almost over. I have about 5 crafts and activities we haven’t done, 6 recipes I haven’t tried out yet and about 8 un-finished blog posts of things I had wanted to share with you this year.
But I am trying to let it go and to just enjoy this time without stressing about my ‘to do’ list. We accomplished a lot and enjoyed the lead up to Christmas and our Advent Calendar activities and that is the most important thing.
This time of year is so magical, and I believe even more so when I get to see it through the eyes of my children. Not only to I get to help create a little magic for them, but they create Christmas magic for me through their sheer delight and enjoyment in the simple things.
So I am wishing you all the most wonderful Christmas. I hope your days are filled with much love, laughter and happiness. Don’t forget the simple things – they really are the stuff that memories are made of.
Thank you for your lovely support throughout the year, it has meant the world to me. I am looking forward to what 2012 will bring. I will be back with something for you before the new year, but for now I’m signing off to enjoy the season and soak up this magical time with my children.
Merry Christmas from my family to yours xox
