I write about home decor here, mostly small spaces, the kind where every lamp and chair has to earn its spot. Lighting, rugs, furniture that actually works instead of just looking good in a photo. I'm a slow decorator, which is a polite way of saying I'll wait eight months for the right secondhand chair rather than buy something to fill the gap. When I'm not writing, I'm at a flea market, in a pottery class making bowls nobody asked for, or pushing the sofa three inches left for the fourth time this month. My plants are thriving. My budget isn't.
