My kiddos had a ball making their capes, I absolutley LOVE how everything was all included in the package, all we needed was a pair of scissors and our imagination, got to love that!
This super cute cape came in the package, it has a velcro fastening for going around your kiddos neck/shoulders, making it so easy to put them on and take them off.
The package also came with some templates and sheets of adhesive felt and a couple of foam stickers.
Noah asked for a lightening strike to go with his star shaped foam stickers so I used one of the helpful templates to cut out a lightening bolt. Your kiddo could also do that part themselves!
Then he stuck everything on where he wanted them, but decided it definitely needed an “N” for Noah!
So I cut out an N for him and he stuck it on. And then literally, we were done. He loved it and was very happy with his superhero cape, popped it on, barely let me take a photo, and he was out the backdoor to scooter on his super hero scooter! LOVE it.
Chloe made one as well, she asked for a heart and I thought it would be nice since her big brother had an “N” for her to have a “C” on hers.
She loves it too, and as soon as we were done making hers she was also out the backyard being the cutest little superhero girl you ever did see.
Thank you so much to Funky Elephant for an easy but super fun little afternoon activity!! What I love also about this is that their end result, their super cute superhero capes, will last for many many more imagination filled days! These would make a really great little gift or stocking stuffer!

I went straight online to buy two from funky elephant but they only have pink in stock – tragedy for my two little boys! I’m still looking for the ‘create’ idea from Santa…… other than play dough I’m a bit stuck for something relatively inexpensive, not messy that they can do fairly independently.
