It’s the most wonderful time of the year, I really truly love Christmas! And I know the blog has been very quiet this year, uni kept me very busy… But it just doesn’t feel like Christmas without a little love form one of my favourites, Tiger Tribe!
Tiger Tribe are an awesome Aussie company started in 2007 by Naomi and Anthony Green. Together with a very talented bunch of graphic designers and illustrators, they design amazing products that take our children on a journey of fun, creativity and imagination. Their range of products just keeps growing and I am delighted to be giving away this amazing pack of wonderful Tiger Tribe Goodies that will keep your kiddos busy when it’s too hot to go outside this Summer or when they’ve had a busy day playing outside and it’s time for them to wind down inside with some fun activities.
These creative sets come with everything you need to get creating and are not only fantastic for using at home, but also for traveling or keeping in the car for those unexpected delays at the doctor’s office or an impromptu meal out. The How To Draw Set includes an instruction booklet, coloured pencils, an eraser and a notebook all ready for them to start drawing! The Stencil Kit comes with a range of cute stencils and awesome double ended colouring pencils as well as a notepad for them to get creating. The sets fold up into a sturdy box, making them easy to store and great to take on the go.
The Modelling Masterpieces set was a huge hit with my 5 year old daughter Chloe. The set comes with everything you need to decorate the cardboard scenes with modelling dough and cute little sequins and other treasures. The dough air dries and the cardboard illustrations have a little frame that pops out of the back, making it easy for them to display their beautiful work!
These My First Puzzle Blocks are an absolute hit with little Owen! With four chunky blocks (perfect for their chubby hands at this age!) he is able to put the pieces together to create an animal or use them for stacking or mixing and matching. I like to pop the pieces into a little basket and leave them on the table for him as an invitation to play. It’s amazing to watch their brains tick over while trying to manipulate the puzzle blocks to create an image that they recognise.
And these Animal ABC flashcards have been amazing too and Owen loves to look at the pictures and always asks what something is. They’re sturdy and thick and just perfect for younger kids curious about letters and sounds before heading to kindy. The illustrations are just gorgeous too.
The Paper Scrunch World was a bigger hit than I anticipated when I set it up for Chloe after school one day. She absolutely loved scrunching up little squares of tissue paper and sticking them down on the gorgeous boards that come in the set. No glue and no mess involved in this one, and really great for their fine motor skills and pencil grip, all while getting them to get creative. Perfect for before bed when you don’t want the kids taking everything out.
The gorgeous Petite Collage Memory games are fantastic for younger kids as the pieces or bright and bold and made of sturdy board. Their nice and big so easy for little hands to grasp and grab hold. Owen absolutely LOVES when he finds a match, we have to high five each time! Tiger Tribe have a whole range of different Memory Games including trains and insects too.
The Mini Patternation is a smaller version of their original Patternation. In the box you get a mini Patternation board, magnetic pieces (making it great for travel too) and a set of idea cards on a ring for the kids to try and recreate. This is perfect as a before bed activity as clean up is quick and easy with fewer pieces. It’s also a little easier so Chloe has been enjoying it a lot.
The Super Clay Imagination Packs are fantastic for winding down and getting creative. Super Clay is really soft and easily moulded into what ever you want to make. It air-dries so you can keep your creations after you’ve made them, or you can store the clay away in the provided containers to use again in the future. I set Noah up with a tray and an instruction sheet and he enjoyed making and creating, and Chloe joined him too. After they had fun using the instructions and photo guides to make a range of little animals, they set off on their own to create sunshines, a snake and a snowman too! I really love how activities like this spark their imagination and give them a little confidence and set them off on their own creative path.
I am really looking forward to next week when my kids start their summer school holidays. Slow mornings and heaps of time to play, read, rest and relax. No school lunches, no homework, no ironing uniforms! Bliss! Just time to slow down and unwind.

Hi Bianca, Merry Christmas to you and your lovely family!! This year we have just bought a camper trailer and its waiting for us to collect in Perth at Christmas. We intend to take 2 weeks making our way back home staying at small quiet seaside towns on the way up north. We need quiet, sea air, salt water, sunshine and basics such as a few games, scooters, puzzles and colouring, so that we can come back together as a family without the chaotic hustle bustle of the school year!!! Minimised screen time, mum and dad on electronic restrictions too! I can’t wait!!! Oh and we love Tiger Tribe in our house!! We have the little colouring in sets in the car and they are perfect for travel or restaurants!! Our latest sets were the paper dolls, a hit with both Miss 5 and Miss 12 ?
I’m looking forward to easy, slow mornings. Trips to the beach, not having to make school lunches and lots of cuddles.
What a great prize- we love Tiger Tribe products too! I’m looking forward to school holidays to be able to take long relaxed daytrips to the beach, the zoo and the city – and not have to be watching the clock to be back in time for school pick up! 🙂
What a great prize!!
I’m looking forward to having my three kids home and spending some quality time with them before the new baby comes 🙂
I would love to win this tiger tribe pack for Christmas holidays. I’m looking forward to having my fourth baby in two weeks & being able to hang at home really letting the kids have some time to unwind & play/eat/sleep at their leisure whilst mum & dad are both at home. We live near the coast so we will be spending lots of lazy days at the beach & hanging out with extended family.
What a wonderful giveaway Bianca! We love tiger tribe in our house! I’m looking forward to school holidays because I’ve finally given up my job to be a full time SAHM and my first born starts school next year. I’m looking forward to spending some one on one time with him before he heads of to school. Going to the pools, movies, bowling and the zoo is on the agenda.
These Tiger Tribe products look fantastic and I’m sure my 2 boys would love them equally and perhaps (fingers and toes crossed) even play nicely together! The school holidays mean a break in routine, not having to have crazy mornings to rush out of the house and no lunchbox pressure!!
This summer, we’re looking forward to winter – Christmas and New Years in Europe! I already have a couple of Tiger Tribe goodies ready for air & train travel and would love to add some more!
We’ve been away from home for nearly 8 weeks as we live in a remote coastal mining community and are required to leave town 4 weeks prior to having a baby. My older two have been so brave going to a new school and being away from home and their dad. We are looking forward to being home, with my husband having time off work, adjusting to being a family of 6, and enjoying our unique environment, boating, fishing, beaching, swimming and playing with our old toys and our Christmas gifts, relaxing and taking the pressure off! Dinners outside, playing under the sprinkler, eating large pieces of watermelon, dripping off our chins and hands. We love summer holidays!
We’re looking forward to these summer school holidays because they are our “last holidays ” of fun, freedom and memory making before they turn into actual “school holidays” as my eldest goes to school next year!
I’m looking forward to mornings of tranquility…no mad rush laundry dashes, no lost shoes, questionable lunch boxes…just endless sunshine and outdoor entertainment.
There are lots of things to love about school holidays but right now other than soaking up my kiddos I am really loving not having to rush around in the morning getting ready for school! Bliss!
We can’t wait for summer holidays because daddy gets time off and we can spend a few weeks together before our family of 3 becomes a family of 4 in February. These holidays will be spent in Mandurah and Busselton with all the cousins, enjoying early morning scooter and bike rides, lazy days in the aircon or paddle pool, afternoon naps, Christmas leftovers, summer Stonefruit, fish and chips by the beach and cheeky icecream treats. The Tiger Tribe goodies will be welcome entertainment for the kids when the adults need a bit of holiday down time!
What an amazing giveaway!!
I am looking forward to slow starts to the day, not having to race around to get my eldest to school, we can all just snuggle up in bed and spend the day watching movies if we want. And not having to wake my youngest from her only nap of the day to do school pick up – definitely looking forward to that hahaha!
I am looking forward to spend some quality relaxing time having fun with my 2 kids before our third baby comes in February and my daughter starts prep next year.
After 3 years at home, the birth of two beautiful daughters and an early pregnancy loss I am looking forward to returning to the classroom on a part time basis in 2016 – so my summer holiday will include lots of planning and preparation for making kindy fun, playful and stimulating for my little kindy tribe. Our family’s summer will be filled with Christmas cheer – Daddy will be taking annual leave to hang out with his favourite girls, a very special great aunt will be visiting from the UK and I will also be celebrating my 40th birthday. Lots of terrific, happy, busy and fun times ahead! Merry Christmas!
We are looking forward to a fun filled school holidays packed with craft activities and family fun, with lots of spontaneous adventures before my big girl starts full time school next year.
I am really looking forward to having everyone home including my husband. I look forward to not watching the clock and having real quality time. We will be doing things like the beach, park trips, the zoo and just playing at home without being in any rush to get somewhere. I love that routine are loose during holidays and anything goes and it just seems to work and the best memories are made
I am looking forward to stopping and just….breathing. This year I gave birth to my second baby but the joy was quickly followed by my father suffering a severe stroke, my Mother passing away of MND(only five months after diagnosis), the sudden death of my Uncle and then the passing of the only grandparent I have ever known. Financial stress of a year on maternity leave, health issues after baby and …a bunch of little blips on top of the big stresses…has left me a little tired. This pack would bring a lot of fun to my little four year old girl who has had to live through all of this with me – and learn some tough life lessons so young. She deserves this so much! Thanks for hosting such a great giveaway. Here’s to an awesome 2016 to everyone!
Some actual time together that doesn’t have to be so regimented.
I’m looking forward to our precious family time. Every January my whole family go away together, usually somewhere close to the beach. There are 11 kids and 8 adults in total! I just love watching all the cousins playing together having the best time of their lives. I look forward to it every year and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
Absolutely love Tiger Tribe. The thing I am looking forward to most about school holidays is having time off work to spend quality fun filled time with my two kids!!! I love that the pace slows down and there’s no “need” to be anywhere, we hang out, bake, do craft, run under the sprinkler and just try and build some fun memories!
I just love the slowing down of life, no morning rush or lunchbox planning. I love the flexibility and freedom to be spontaneous. Evening outings to the beach, shops or a date for icecream. Midweek movie nights! I am looking forward to just spending time with my girls.
P.S. there is now a bnch of new things on my must have list from Tiger Tribe!
I love holidays!! I love the uninterrupted time that encourages the kids to really play, create and explore. This is what childhood memories are made of!!
Looking forward to slowing down in the mornings. Always feel like I’m rushing my kids and telling them to hurry up, so will be nice to take it easy and start the day off with no yelling from me.
I’m absolutely hanging out to spend some quality time with my two cherubs Miss 6 and Mr 16mths, with no early morning rushes to get ready for school! They play so well together and enjoy each other’s company, it’s really heartwarming to see. I could just imagine them both exploring this magnificent tiny tribe prize set together creating some wonderful memories. We are also awaiting a surgery date for Mr 16mths, so if it happens to be during the holiday period, this prize would definitely be a welcomed distraction during the recovery period 🙂
Hi, we love tiger tribe! I am looking forward to things slowing down and spending heaps of time with my kids, especially my daughter who starts school nextyear.
I’m looking forward to spending some fun & relaxed days poolside with the family. My big girl starts 5 days a week next year so I am going to enjoy all the time I can with her.
Wow these look like so much fun! Looking forward to family time having Daddy home, and welcoming a new addition in January. This pack would definitely keep my girl entertained as i muddle through figuring out how to be a mum of 2.
Awesome prize! I’m looking forward to winding down – an end to the before and after school rushing around and just having some down time to enjoy my adorable girls
Not making school lunches!! Mostly just a relaxed routine with no deadlines to be anywhere.
Ever since my son learned about tigers in daycare he has been obsessed with them! I can’t wait for the summer holidays so I can take him to the zoo to see his beloved tigers In real life!
I’m looking forward to many things, family fun, jet ski trips, camping trips, ice blocks in the summer sun, water fights but mostly I’m looking forward to spending time with family before returning to work after a year off.
The school holidays mean no headache preparing lunch, no homework, no spelling test practise. Break the routine, relaxing, and have fun
I can’t wait for summer holidays as my husband and I are both teachers so it means lots of family adventures together with our little boy – parks, zoo and lots of beach time. Such a wonderful relaxed time when there’s no schedule to stick to! ?
Fingers crossed we’ll be moving in the school holidays to a bigger house with TWO bathrooms 😉 yay so excited and no more open homes.
I’m looking forward to not packing school lunches, days in PJs and not rushing in the morning. Trips to the pool, bush walks and play dates! As im pregnant with bub #3 this would be great for the days I’m struggling to entertain the older two girls.
After a year teaching an extremely challenging reception / 1 class I’m really looking forward to spending some uninterrupted quality time with my own almost 5 and almost 3 year olds, creating memories in an unhurried and nurturing way. Sometimes life becomes so hectic that I forget to just enjoy the moment. That’s what these holidays are going to be about for us!
I look forward to (optimistically!) fewer ear infections! Last night his left ear drum ruptured, the night before was the right. Mr 4 has grommets surgery next week (distractions ahoy please), so I can have a snoooooze
Spending time with my husband who has been working in NSW for about 10months this year n we have only seen him for about 3 weeks of this time.
We dearly miss him as he does us.
He spends his days living out of a truck while he provides for the roof over our heads.
We are driving 2 days to see him from QLD to spend 7 weeks with him
Bring on summer holidays xx
I’m looking forward to just stopping, having late nights, family dates and enjoying the weather with lots of outside adventures
Spending quality time with my kids and not rushing
I just love watching my girls (3 and 5yrs) gain confidence in the summer holidays. Swim a little further, learn to ride a bike, try to jump a bigger wave at the beach. It is a time to go slow, but do so much together.
Im looking forward to taking the kids on their first caravan trip, along with a few of our friends and their kids. We will be doing lots of playing, walking, swimming and exploring. Plenty of down time too where the kids will be camp cooking, reading and doing lots of craft activities
We are looking forward to travelling back to England for the holidays and for our beautiful 18 month old daughter to meet her grandparents, cousins, uncle etc etc for the very first time and spend a very special Christmas together with all the people we love.
Summer school holidays are upon us here in Qld. I have to say my first thought this morning was getting excited about not having to pack school lunches for several weeks. Also letting my kids sleep in and not asking them to get dressed for school 9 times. On a more positive note sun, beach and family and friends. Can’t wait to just relax and potter around for awhile. Catch up on stuff xx happy holidays everyone xx
Hi Bianca!
What I am looking forward to most this summer is backyard cricket with my Hubby and our 3 Boys. Also looking forward to setting up the tent in the backyard to camp out together!
We have recently been doing some gardening and getting the backyard cleaned up as we have our family coming for Chrissy breakfast at iur place so I am soooo excited for that too!!!
Chuck a few PJ days in there, some water play, baking days and no doubt lots of art and craft too and colouring in!! Master 5 especially loves his papers and pens (just like his Mumma haha). So its pretty safe to say I am basically looking forward to it all this summer!! Bring it on!! 🙂
P.S – 9 days left of school!!! Yipee!! X
I’m looking forward to time with my children to just be. No plans. No rushing. No yelling. No stress.
My daughter starts Prep next year so I’m planning on spending as much time as I can with her over the holidays – she loves craft, puzzles etc so it’s lovely to be able to sit & enjoy these activities together xo
My 2 little ones are real nature children, so the summer holidays are an awesome time for exploring our beautiful country. We love to spend time in the outdoors especially at parks or the beach I am really looking forward to all the magic and fun we are going to experience over the coming weeks.
Looking forward to spending time doing nothing!! Relaxing by the pool and appreciating family. Also trying to stay calm before my biggest baby goes off to high school next year. Have a wonderful Christmas Bianca!!
I am SO looking forward to less rushing. Not having to be out the door at any time will be bliss! Looking forward to beach days and a little trip down south.
Looking forward to swims at the beach, last minute adventures and crafty time with my 4yr old ?
Just being together is our plan. It has been a busy year. Time to regroup.
Doing Christmas craft and baking with my girls, going on holidays will be so cool.
Building sandcastles on the beach and lots of time swimming at the pool.
Time. Space to think and just be.
Every year we seem to crawl to the ‘finish line’ and the summer school holidays are a time to re-group, relax and prepare mentally and physically for the next year of fun.
They are my favourite time of the year 🙂
I’m looking forward to spending as much time with my family while hubby has a bit of time off. Particularly, soaking up every moment with my eldest before she starts “big school” in the new year. (I’m going to miss her company so much!)
I am looking forward to having the kids home from school. No lunches to pack, uniforms to wash, homework to do, school notices to fill out. We will fill our days with swimming, camping, talking, playing games and eating!
I’m looking forward to spending everyday with my six Grandkids aged 15 months to 6 years, with two sets of twins. My daughter works so the little people will be with me everyday on our farm. We have lots of adventures outdoors, create heaps of arts and craft, read stories, play games and generally be silly together. It wont be a little delightful, it will be extremely delightful.
not getting up early for school
I’m looking forward to taking both my husband and daughter to the beach since they both have recently learnt how to swim (yes, even my husband!)
Not having to rush
To leave the daily grind behind
To enjoy the short time that is childhood
As it won’t last forever
Kids own Summer….beach cricket, the freedom of endless barefoot days and hours in the surf…summer school holidays with my kids at the beach are most memorable.
As much as I love our kids, I’m most looking forward to them spending a glorious three weeks away at the beach with their Grandparents. It’ll be good for the kids, and my in-laws, and all the more amazing for my wife and I. We won’t know what to do with ourselves in the silence which will be sheer and absolute bliss.
Doing things as a family. My husband’s work shuts down for a month over Christmas, and I love that we have him home with us to share in all the mundane day to day things, as well as all the fun stuff too like day trips to new and exciting places.
Not living life by the clock. Just doing what we feel like, when we feel like it, letting the kids stay up a little late to watch a movie together. Catching up with friends and family, I think the little things, as a collective, are what I look forward to most over the summer school holidays.
Spending long summer days with family enjoying the sunshine, ocean & sand…..whilst forgetting about the time or days!
Going to the beach!!
6.00am Term-time, it’s all systems go;
Breakfast,lunch-packing, no time to be slow!
6.00am Holidays, we’re all still asleep;
No rushing, no routines we need to keep!
I can’t wait to enjoy that relaxed feeling, full of Summer vibes. Once all of the rushing and celebrating of December is over, and we can chill out, taking out time to do whatever we want with the long Summer days.
I’m looking forward to school holidays. Fun in the sun, sea and sand and ice blocks in the shade.
I’m taking 10 days off work and I can’t wait to spend time with my kids! Making rumballs and christmas cookies and not packing lunches and ironing uniforms… We’re visiting family for christmas and going out to the reef snorkelling. It’s going to be magic.
No more daycare, onto preschool next year so this will be our first real “summer holiday” together. Mister 4 and I have written a list together off all the things we want to do together. Ranging from simple things like painting and building cubby houses to big adventures of going to the zoo.
Seeing my gorgeous niece and nephew who are visiting from the UK. Unfortunately their mama has had a really rough year with severe depression so I’m hoping to spend quality time with the kids, but also keep them occupied for hours so I can spend quality time with my sister who really needs our family support right now. Oh yeah, and I had a baby boy a fortnight ago so time management and organisation is going to be key!!
Looking forward to seeing extended family coming to Melbourne for Xmas (including 1st Christmas for two babies!) and then a holiday in a remote coastal town – beautiful beaches, national parks and amazing views. Lots of quality time with the grandparents for my littlies before one starts school for the first time.
I am so looking forward to summer as it gives us a time to slow down, enjoy the beautiful sunny outdoors and spend time with eachother. Hubby works 6 days a week and during summer gets 2 weeks off which is amazing as the kids adore having him around and he gets to enjoy everything with them without missing out like he usally does during the year xx
Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas Bianca xx
We are looking forward to sleeping in….mmm maybe 🙂 Also we have planned to CREATE A MAGICAL PLAY SPACE for the kids in the backyard. It gives us plenty of time to make it special, the kids will be helping which makes it even better..we cant wait!!
I am looking forward to these summer holidays as my eldest is about to start school next year!! So it will be my last chance to really spend some time with him before he’s off 5 days a week next year. Also looking forward to some quality family time together. My favorite time of year!!
I am looking forward to rain! Rain to fill our dams, rain to replenish the earth and reinvigorate the trees and grasses and animals, and rain to settle the dust so I can spend more time playing with my girls and less time worrying about how much dusting I should be doing! (Thankfully there are no dust allergies in our family)
Such an amazing prize!!
We can’t wait for a slower start to our mornings and lots of spontaneous fun days at home in our Pyjamas!
I’m looking forward to exploring the area as a family! We moved here just over 4 months ago and have been so busy with settling in, starting at new jobs/schools, etc, that we haven’t had much time together as a family to discover the local area we live in. We can’t wait to check out the best that Darwin has to offer!
would love love love to win this.
Looking forward to lazy summer days spent enjoying sunshine with family and friends, especially my little girl.
Hi Bianca! Wowsers, what a beautiful prize! What am I looking forward to these holidays? Oh, EVERYTHING! No school lunches, no morning rush, no shirts to iron, no rushed school pickup, no homework … and sleep-ins!!! xxx
I’m looking forward to lazy late afternoon picnics at the beach, backyard sprinkler water fun, movie nights at home and bbq’s with friends.
Having my children at home to craft, play, bake, swim and read with. And not having to make school lunches!
I’m looking forward to a lapse in routine for a while. Having to get up at a certain time, meal preparation and after school activities can get lost! We will do as much or as little as we like.
No school lunches! Finding food that travels without squashing in the lunch box, keeping appetites interested and sated, and making sure that it keeps cold in the hot Qld weather is bad enough, but I have to times it by 4!
always love getting out and doing day trips to the zoo, museums and parks around my area
Swimming, barbecues, picnics, ice creams at the beach! I can’t wait.
I am seriously looking forward to screen – free time for everyone and more bonding time where everyone is mindful about their behaviour . Most importantly we want to achieve all these things while having loads of fun 🙂
The kids and I count down to the school holidays. We are so excited. We love enjoying longer pj mornings, cooking Xmas treats and just relaxing watching my kids & puppies playing together. ❤️
Well I’m looking forward to unwinding and relaxing with my kids it’s been a busy year and I just want to enjoy each and every day with my kiddies before my middle baby starts full time pre primary ! We are blessed to be in our beautiful new home so finish off a few projects around the home ! Lots of fun around the house and day trips ! Looking forward to Christmas and hope you have a beautiful one too Bianca xxxx
