This Easter I have been doing so much thinking. I followed Eden’s journey to Niger, as she blogged about the Food Crisis for World Vision. I have been thinking about how I want to teach my children about how important it is to know there is a whole big world out there. I don’t feel I’ve been doing enough. Growing up I had career aspirations and dreams. I wanted to be a teacher, event manager or marine biologist. I started studying to be a teacher and changed my mind, and moved onto event management. This suited me better, but the course was not exactly what I was after, so I shifted direction and took up media and photography. being present & a home made play mat

Lately, things have been slipping. Housework, uni work, quality time with the kiddos, with my husband. The semester at uni started and it always takes me a while to get into the new groove of things. Then my beautiful 93 year old Grandmother passed away and we flew overseas for the funeral quite unexpectedly. Come home and we’re all sick and it takes us 3 weeks to shake it.
