Good morning and happy Thursday!

It’s been a little quiet from me as we have been busy with school holiday fun – we really needed the down time and break from the school routine and we are loving it!
We’re also getting ready to go on holiday for Easter this year to visit family! Hooray!!!

I woke up to about 9 messages and 3 emails asking for some ideas for Easter baskets, so I thought I’d share a photo of our Easter baskets for this year as well link you to a couple from years gone by.

Traditionally our kids get a book each and a new pair of winter pj’s.
This years picks are from Target {Owen’s little blue bunny ones} and Cotton On Kids {Noah and Chloe’s super hero ones}

This is the first year Noah is getting a non Easter or rabbit themed book. As he so enjoys reading now we thought the EB could bring him a book he can enjoy on our holiday.

The playdough eggs were a cool find this year at woolies. Also perfect for traveling as the kids love playdough. The yellow fairies egg and red robots egg were also found at woolies {though in the toy section} – I have no idea what’s in them really and if they’re any good but thought I’d add them to this years baskets.

I found the egg shaped rockets at a $2 shop – nice and easy and fun to play with outside on Easter Sunday. And usually my kids would get a nice big bunny each in their baskets but as we’re away from home I thought a little one would do this year. They are from Bed bath n table {50% off} and usually have pretty little dresses on them, I just took them off and will leave them at home for playing with later.

We keep the chocolate pretty light {and none for Owen} so a couple of kinder bunnies do the trick.
I also pop some of the teeny little eggs into those plastic refillable eggs for their Easter egg hunt.

So there’s our baskets this year! Just keeping it very simple as I’ve got to pack it all in our suitcase.
