The Fairmont Royal York, Toronto’s landmark hotel, welcomes international delegates, fans and cinema royalty to Toronto for the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards.
To celebrate the occasion, Louise Cook, Manager of The Library Bar, and her bartenders have been busy creating cinema inspired cocktails for guests and city residents to enjoy.
The cocktails feature local Canadian products and flavours that can be found in South Asian cooking and libations, including: ginger, mint, mango and banana. These decadent treats are $14.00 each and are available at The Fairmont Royal York in The Library Bar during the IIFA week.
Cocktails range from the distinguished Raj Kapoor Martini of Victoria Gin to the Fairmont Jaipur Pink Mojito made with rum and muddled rooftop mint; the playful Filmi Fizz of tropical flavours paired with Lamb’s Navy Rum, and finally The Kashmir featuring saffron and vodka, mixed with the sweet juices of oranges and mangoes.
