Holly, a mum of 2 beautiful girls, wanted to inspire children to imagine, create, learn and love and that is exactly what she does through her absolutely gorgeous goodies from Dear Little Designs. Her gorgeous little mailboxes and letter boxes inspire children to write to friends, family, Santa or little fairy friends. And the new Dear Little Diary and Treasure Box sets give children a little safe place of their own for keeping special trinkets and memories.

There is nothing better than encouraging imagination, and I think these cute little Mailboxes could help us create a little bit of magic for our children, too.DLM1
The Dear Little Mailbox comes with everything your kiddos need to get started on writing enchanted letters to their fairy friends, or a letter for their brother, sister, mum or dad. Included is a set of envelopes and a little letter notepad, perfectly sized to fit in the mailbox, along with some stickers and stamps, some pencils and a sharpener.

The Dear Little Mailbox comes in a range of beautiful sorbet colours like this mint green, and purple, white, blue and pink. The traditional Dear Little Letterbox comes in a range of brighter colours including yellow and red, so you’re sure to find a colour to suit any play space or bedroom!
Ours is a new addition to our writing workshop which has been temporarily transformed into a Christmas Corner filled with everything the kids need for a little festive fun!DLM4

They have been loving writing little cards to each other and popping them in their mailbox. Each morning, Chloe in particular, runs over to check it and is absolutely delighted when she finds something addressed to her, usually written by her thoughtful big brother, but also by me or dad!
Just recently our elf Peppermint left a little note in here for the kids, and the other day we posted our letters to Santa in it. After Christmas has come and gone, this little mailbox will be a treasured part of our writing workshop for the whole year through. I can’t wait to see what else my kids pop in here. DLM3

There’s something special about encouraging ‘snail mail’ – and that in turn encourages my kids to take time out to do something for someone in the family whether it is a special note or a special drawing. It’s been such a fun addition to our play time!!
