Hi all,
This giveaway is now closed! Congratulations to Jennine S!
I wanted to share with you the Uniden Baby Watch Video Monitor :o}

We had the same baby monitor for Noah and Chloe, and after SIX years of non-stop use it was well and truly on it’s last legs so I was excited when Uniden contacted me and asked if I’d like to review one of their new video monitors! We were sent the BW3102 Digital Wireless Baby Video Monitor to test out.
Uniden have been around for a long time and are known for their excellent wireless products and the Wireless Baby Watch Monitor certainly doesn’t disappoint.

My husband and I probably comment on this monitor to each other every single day. We both love it and LOVE being able to see Owen. Even our two big kids love that we can be baking in the kitchen or hanging out in the backyard but we can keep an eye on him while he’s in another room.
There are two different models of the Uniden Baby Watch, one model allows Skype functionality that lets parents check in on their baby anytime, anywhere – great if you travel away from home a lot {think about all those Fly In Fly Out Dads!} or want to be able to see your baby while you’re out at work for peace of mind!

Both models of the Uniden come with either one or two cameras with the option to add additional cameras, up to a total of 4. You can choose to have 1 particular camera being displayed at any time, or have the monitor cycle through all cameras that are on, or even have 2, 3 or all 4 cameras on screen at once.
Some other features of the Uniden BabyWatch include a “walkie talkie” function which is pretty neat! My kids have been having a lot of fun with that!
There is also a temperature display on the parent unit so you can monitor the temp where ever your baby is sleeping.
 The cameras also have night vision and work in darkness so you can still see your baby even at night with the lights off.
Currently we are using our cameras like this – clipped onto the side of the cot and the other is on our bassinette. Obviously this is because our bub is just 3 months old and can’t yet sit up or stand to play with them!
They can also stand so you can position them anywhere in baby’s room to get the best view or when you baby is old enough to move about in their cot. If you can’t have it quite as close as you’d like to baby’s bed, there is the ability to zoom in a little!
But honestly what I love most about our Uniden Baby Watch is just being able to SEE Owen, we’ve never had a video monitor before but it’s seriously awesome being able to see if he is awake and happy or fast asleep without having to make noise and disturb him by opening the door to check on him. I also really love to use it when Owen is awake and I will pop him into his cot to play so he is safe while I’m showering/bathing my older two, it’s great to be able to see what he’s up to!
Because the cameras and the parent unit all have rechargeable batteries I can just unplug the parent unit and take it around the house or out into the backyard with me when needed.
Since Owen sleeps between two rooms {his own bedroom for most day sleeps, and our bedroom overnight} it’s great having the two cameras that don’t have to move and are just there and ready where ever we put him down.
Overall I really love our Uniden Baby Watch and have raved about it to our family and friends.
The only downside I’ve found so far is that when you turn the cameras on they ‘beep’ which is a little loud. I try to remember to turn the camera on before I’m popping my sleeping baby into his bed but on the odd occasion I’ve forgotten. Most times the beep hasn’t woken him up at all, and there might even be a way to turn it off that I just haven’t found yet.
I really do love that I can just see Owen, all the time. It doesn’t matter if I’m in the back yard with our big kids, in the laundry folding clothes, cooking in the kitchen or sitting on the couch and reading stories!
I am so excited that I also have one of these brilliant Uniden Baby Watch Video Monitors to giveaway to one of my lovely readers!
I have one Uniden Baby Watch BW3002 to give away which comes with TWO cameras :o}
