I was in Ikea the day before Owen was born {have I mentioned that I love Ikea!?} and I was drawn to the teal colour of these Malma mirrors. When I saw their price of $2.95 each I couldn’t resist and decided to see if I could get a square instagram print to fit on top of the mirror. I had been searching for some nice square frames as I have so many favourite instagram photos I’d love to display in our home.

Of course I didn’t get around to trying it out and popping them up on the wall until recently but I really love how they look! All up this cost me less that $15, for the frames, printed photos and 3M velcro tabs to stick them up with!

I just printed some instagram prints out at Big W and trimmed them to fit – the mirror size is a little smaller than a 4×4 print but not too much smaller. I rounded the corners of the photo to conceal as much of the mirror as possible, and used a little bit of double sided tape to hold the photo in place on top of the mirror.

I used 3M velcro tabs to stick them up on the wall. Easy.

They are just what this little blank wall needed! Love them. And since there is no glass front, changing the photos when I feel like it is super easy!
