We had so much fun doing our dinosaur theme.
There is so much you can do and the kids never seemed to tire of all the dino activities.
Here is a wrap up of all the things we did :o}

Our Dino table – with books and dinosaurs to enjoy through the theme.

Some dinosaur sensory tubs
1 with pebbles for inside

and one with sand for outside

Some dinosaurs made from painted cardboard and wooden pegs. We hung these up from the ceiling :o}

Digging for dino bones

Dinosaur fossil playdough

{printable} folded paper dinosaurs

We went to scitech to see the Dinosaur exhibit!

I coloured dinosaur pasta shapes (coles) and Noah drew their homes with chalk pastel on black cardstock and stuck them on. Too cute.

We made playdough volcanos! This was a highlight!

We played with some ‘dinosaur eggs’ bought from Kmart for $2 – they’re not very easy for little ones, but there is a dinosaur inside each one and did keep them occupied for a while, until Mummy and Daddy had to help them out :o}

And last but not least, paper plate dinosaurs – probably my favourite for ease and cuteness!

Phew!

We certainly had a lot of fun and the kiddos have been soaking all this dino-ness up.

I hope those of you who have been playing along at home enjoyed some of the things we shared. If you’re after more dinosaur ideas, you can check out some here on my dinosaur themed pinterest board :o}
